Release 4.4.1 contains a large number of bugfixes and tweaks that stemmed from the big changes introduced in release 4.3.1 earlier this year. Naturally we also added new features and extended existing ones to add to our ever growing list of capabilities!
The two most exciting additions to sklera are the ability to add recurring events to the sklera Room Manager directly in the system without having to rely on external calendars, as well as displaying proof of play reports for specific library and playlist elements without having to manually create a report!
Proof of Play
sklera Standard and upwards since long has included a reporting function which enabled you to pull the playback logs of one or all your players. A point of friction that had been repeatedly communicated to us was that finding out how often a specific library item or playlist spot was played back was cumbersome to find out.
Configurable
Thus we added a new function to the library and playlist editor. Once you open an items or spots context menu you'll be greeted by a new option 'Playout statistics'. With this option you can immediately visualize how often the item in question has been played back, and on how many individual players it's been shown.
This chart can be broken down to a hourly view (for any day in the past week) or a daily breakdown (for weekly or monthly views). The data can be accessed up to one year in the past.
